Position: Security Guard
Classification: Part Time
Basic Requirements:
- Security experience preferred;
- Experience in dealing with the public preferred;
- Safety, Fire, CPR and First Aid training desirable;
- Valid DriverŐs License;
- Ability to handle administrative tasks including safety reports, etc.;
- Ability to handle fire and other emergencies using good judgement;
- Ability to work with other departments and managers;
- Excellent communication skills.
General Responsibilities:
- Making security and safety rounds of building;
- Maintaining logs and completing shift and incident reports;
- Becoming proficient using and monitoring safety equipment;
- Checking employees and visitors as they come into the building;
- Reporting safety hazards to department heads and making follow-up reports;
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
