Department: Administration
Position: Occupational Health Nurse
Classification: Part Time on call
Basic Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing;
- RN License (DC/MD/VA);
- CPR Certification;
- Three years experience in occupational health or emergency room nursing;
- Knowledge of WorkerÕs Compensation laws preferred;
- Certification as an audiometric technician is desirable;
- Ability to work well alone and under pressure;
- Ability to administer audiometric tests in desirable.
General Responsibilities:
- Pre-employment and periodic health evaluations;
- Care of work-related injuries and illnesses;
- Evaluation of non-occupational complaints;
- Counseling, health education and assistance with wellness programs;
- Writing reports and maintaining accurate health records.
