Department: Administration

Position: Occupational Health Nurse

Classification: Part Time on call

Basic Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing;
  • RN License (DC/MD/VA);
  • CPR Certification;
  • Three years experience in occupational health or emergency room nursing;
  • Knowledge of WorkerÕs Compensation laws preferred;
  • Certification as an audiometric technician is desirable;
  • Ability to work well alone and under pressure;
  • Ability to administer audiometric tests in desirable.

General Responsibilities:

  • Pre-employment and periodic health evaluations;
  • Care of work-related injuries and illnesses;
  • Evaluation of non-occupational complaints;
  • Counseling, health education and assistance with wellness programs;
  • Writing reports and maintaining accurate health records.

Note: All of the essential functions of this position are not necessarily described in this posting. Positions can be in any of our regional locations: Washington, DC, Springfield, VA and College Park, MD.
