Kaye D. Oliver

Mrs. Oliver is a secondary social studies teacher at Calvert High School. She began her teaching career in 1984 as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor for Cambodian and Chinese refugees at Profile Junior and Senior High School in Littleton, N.H. In 1985, she moved to Maryland and joined the Charles County Public School system as a U.S. and world history teacher, where she remained until 1989. For the last 15 years, she has been an instructor in the Calvert County Public School system at Calvert High School teaching social studies, government and history. She received a bachelor of science degree in social science from Frostburg State College in Frostburg, Md. and a master of science degree in curriculum and instruction from Western Maryland College in Westminster.
