Bonnie E. Luepkes
Howard County Public Schools

Mrs. Luepkes is an instructional team leader in the science department at Atholton High School and has spent her 32-year teaching career in the Howard County Public School system. From 1973 to 1978, she was a team leader in the science department of Waterloo and Owen Brown Middle Schools where she supervised scientific presentations and planned and organized science fairs and science career days. Mrs. Luepkes joined the staff of Atholton in 1978, where she taught a variety of science courses such as biology (Honors, GT and AP), anatomy and physiology and forensic science throughout her twenty-seven year tenure. Mrs. Luepkes assumed her present position in 1998. She received bachelor of science and master of science degrees in biology from Towson State University in Towson, Md.
