Frank T. Kasik, III
Manassas Park City Public Schools
Mr. Kasik is an English teacher at Manassas Park High School.
He began his career in education in 1977 as an English teacher
for grades 11 and 12 at E.C. Glass High School in Lynchburg,
Va. From 1978 to 1984, Mr. Kasik lived in the U.S. Virgin Islands
where he taught English to grades 8-12, journalism and speech
at Saints Peter and Paul School in St. Thomas. In addition
to teaching at Saints Peter and Paul School, Mr. Kasik was
also an adjunct faculty member at the University of the Virgin
Islands, teaching effective communication. In 1984, Mr. Kasik
returned to the mainland and taught 9-12 grade English, journalism
and radio/television production at Pulaski County High School
in Dublin, Va., until 2000, when he assumed his current position.
During his tenure at Pulaski, he served as an adjunct faculty
member at New River Community College in Dublin, Va., and at
Radford University in Radford, Va. Mr. Kasik received a bachelor
of arts degree in English from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg,
Va., and a master of arts degree in English from Radford University.
