Nancy L. Hebdon,
Montgomery County Public Schools

Mrs. Hebdon is a mathematics resource teacher at Paint Branch High School. She began her career in 1969 as a geometry teacher at Fort Johnson High School in Charleston, S.C. From 1971 to 1981, Mrs. Hebdon took time off to raise a family and pursue her master’s degree. In 1981, she returned to her career in education and joined Montgomery County Public Schools teaching math and algebra at Parkland Junior High School. Mrs. Hebdon assumed her present position in 1986, teaching a variety of math subjects including pre-algebra, trigonometry and consumer math. She received a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics from Hood College in Frederick, Md., and a master of arts degree in secondary education from The George Washington University.
