Joseph K. Hills
Fairfax County Public Schools

Mr. Hills is a teacher of world studies at Lake Braddock Secondary School. His entire career as an educator has taken place in the Fairfax County Public School System where he has worked since 1960. Mr. Hills has taught at Fairfax, Marshall and Langley High Schools in Fairfax, Va. He has taught 42 summer school sessions for academically-challenged students at 17 different high schools. Mr. Hills has also served as social studies department chair for over 30 years at Langley and Marshall High Schools and at Lake Braddock Secondary School. He received a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pa., and a master of arts degree in education from the College of St. Thomas, Minn.
