Constance L. Crosby
Manassas Park City Public Schools

Mrs. Crosby, is a sixth grade teacher at Manassas Park Middle School. She began her teaching career in 1968 as a fourth grade teacher at Weiss Elementary School in Saginaw, Mich.. In 1970, she taught kindergarten through fifth grade at Arcadia #6, Morse School in Alma, Mich. From 1971 to 1974, Mrs. Crosby took time off from teaching to raise a family. In 1974, she taught fifth grade at Fountain-Ft. Carsom Middle School in Ft. Carson, Colo. From 1975 to 1978, Mrs. Crosby relocated to Heilborn, Germany to teach high school completion math and history courses to United States Army soldiers seeking their high school diploma. In the fall of 1978, she returned to the United States and taught kindergarten and eighth grade earth science at St. Anthony’s Catholic School in Falls Church, Va. From 1987 to 1997, Mrs. Crosby joined the Manassas Park City Public School system and taught fourth grade, fifth grade and fifth and sixth grade at risk students at Connor Elementary School in Manassas Park, Va. In 1997, she joined the faculty at Manassas Park Middle School and assumed her current position. Mrs. Crosby received her bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., a master of education degree in teacher research with and emphasis in language arts and a master of education in instructional technology from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
