Ann M. Mizelle
Manassas City Public Schools

Mrs. Mizelle is a math teacher at Osbourn High School. She began her teaching career in 1982 as an eighth grade math teacher at Bemidji Middle School in Bemidji, Minn., where she remained for one year. Mrs. Mizelle joined the faculty at Osbourn in 1984 when she assumed her current position. During her tenure at Osburn, she has taught algebra I, algebra II, geometry and statistics among other math courses. In addition to teaching, she is the department supervisor for the mathematics department and a Standards of Learning (SOL) lead teacher. In 1992, Mrs. Mizelle was ranked among Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She received a B.S. degree in mathematics from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minn., and an M.A. degree in professional studies with an emphasis in teaching from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
