Priscilla H. Minnich
Charles County Public Schools

Mrs. Minnich is a life science and physical science teacher at Matthew Henson Middle School. She began her teaching career in 1964 at East Lyme Junior High School in Niantic, Conn., where she taught seventh and eighth grade general science for two years. From 1966 to 1972, Mrs. Minnich took time off from teaching to raise a family. In 1972, she joined the Charles County Public School system as a fifth grade elementary school teacher at Dr. Samuel A. Mudd Elementary School in Waldorf, Md., where she remained for two years. From 1974 to 1977, Mrs. Minnich was a science teacher at Dr. Brown Elementary School, also located in Waldorf, Md. In 1977, she taught sixth grade environmental science at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School where she remained for five years and later taught at Smallwood Elementary School in Indian Head, Md., until 1989. From 1989 to 1994, Mrs. Minnich taught science at Wade Elementary in Waldorf, Md. In 1994, she joined the faculty at Matthew Henson and assumed her current position. Mrs. Minnich received a B.S. degree in elementary and middle school education from Eastern Connecticut State College in Willmantic, Conn.
