Gerald A. Link
Montgomery County Public Schools
Mr. Link is a science teacher at Northwest High School. He
began his career in 1967 as a science teacher at Jericho Junior
High School in Jericho, N.Y., where he taught for four years.
In 1971, he joined the Montgomery County Public School system
as a science teacher at Cabin John Middle School in Potomac,
Md., where he remained for thirteen years. From 1984 to 1988,
Mr. Link taught science at Wootton High School in Rockville,
Md. In 1988, he moved to Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg,
Md., where he taught science for ten years. In 1998, Mr. Link
joined the faculty at Northwest High School where he assumed
his current position. He was also awarded the Parent Student
Teacher Association's Teacher of the Year Award for his teaching
excellence at Quince Orchard in 1998. Mr. Link received a
B.S. degree in biology from Southern Connecticut College in
New Haven, Conn., and an M.S. degree in biology from C.W.
Post University in Long Island, N.Y.
