Paul M. Jacobs
Stafford County Public Schools

Mr. Jacobs is a technology education teacher at T. Benton Gayle Middle School. He began his teaching career in 1988 at Wappingers Junior High School in Wappingers Falls, N.Y., where he taught technology education for three years. In 1991, Mr. Jacobs was hired to teach technology education at Stuart M. Belville Middle School in Prince William County, Va., where he remained for five years. In 1996, he assumed his current position at T. Benton Gayle. In addition to teaching at T. Benton Gayle, Mr. Jacobs taught an adult woodworking course for the Stafford County Adult and Continuing Education Program from 1996 to 1998 and in 1997 he taught a robotics course at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, Va. In 2003, he received the Outstanding Technology Education Teacher Award from the International Technology Education Association. Mr. Jacobs received a B.S. degree in industrial sciences technology education from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo., and an M.Ed. degree in technology education from California State University of Pennsylvania in California, Pa.
