Six fellowships will be awarded. The fellowships include a 10-day program in October 2006 in Paris and Amiens, France. The program will include meetings with French educational administrators as well as local and national French government officials, informational sessions about the French school system and culture, cultural events, most meals, lodging, transportation and instructional materials. Those accepted will be required to participate from October 16-25, 2006. The Washington Post is committed to helping schools provide exceptional learning environments and conducting programs that encourage and recognize excellence in education in the Washington metropolitan area.
