Brenda J. Lewis,
Prince William County Public Schools, is principal of Loch Lomond Elementary School. Beginning her career in education in 1974 with the Warren County Public Schools system, Mrs. Lewis taught kindergarten and first grade at E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School in Front Royal, Va. After teaching at Morrison Elementary for four years, she joined City of Manassas Public Schools as a kindergarten and early childhood contact person for the entire school system until 1989. Mrs. Lewis joined Prince William County Public Schools later that year as assistant principal at Sudley Elementary School in Manassas, Va. In 1990, she moved to Parkside Elementary, also in Manassas, as assistant principal where she remained for nine years. She assumed her current position at Loch Lomond in 1999. Mrs. Lewis is a member of the Virginia and National Association of Elementary School Principals and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. Mrs. Lewis holds a BS degree in elementary education from Virginia State University in Petersburg and an MEd degree in supervision and administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
