Raymond J. Pasi,
Arlington Public Schools, is principal of Yorktown High School. Dr. Pasi began his career in education in 1974 as an English teacher and school psychologist at Molloy High School in Jamaica, N.Y. From 1981 to 1989, he held the positions of assistant principal and principal at St. Mary°s High School in Manhasset, N.Y. In 1990, Dr. Pasi became assistant principal at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Fl., and was promoted to principal in 1992, a position he held for three years. From 1995 to 1997, he was a special visiting lecturer at Providence College in Providence, R.I. In 1995, Dr. Pasi became principal of LaSalle Academy in Providence, R.I., where he remained for two years. He joined Arlington Public Schools in 1997, when he assumed his present position. Dr. Pasi holds a BA degree in English from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., an MS degree in counseling and personnel services from Fordham University in New York, N.Y., an MA degree in religious studies from the Catholic University in Washington, D.C., and an EdD in educational leadership from the University of Miami in Miami, Fl.
