Jeff S. Abt,
Manassas City Public Schools, is principal of Baldwin Elementary School. Mr. Abt began his career in education in 1984, as a physical education and health teacher at Oakwood Private School in Annandale, Va. In 1986, he joined Manassas City Public Schools as a physical education teacher at George C. Round Elementary, where he remained for six years. In 1992, Mr. Abt became assistant principal at Grace E. Metz Junior High School. From 1994 to 1996, he was assistant principal of Jennie Dean Elementary School and assumed his present position in 1997. Mr. Abt holds a BS degree in education with specialization in health and physical education, and an MEd degree with specialization in school administration from George Mason University.
