Contributions Program Guidelines

One of the ways in which The Post supports the community is through The Washington Post's Contributions Program. Qualified nonprofit organizations whose ongoing programs provide direct benefit to those in our community who are in need, and that focus on key issues in the areas of education, health and human services, the arts, civic betterment, youth and community service may apply for assistance. We have a special interest in supporting organizations whose programs:

  1. Serve the most needy and least able citizens of our community
  2. Seek to fill unmet societal needs or solve long-standing community problems
  3. Address key community issues and concerns in collaborative, imaginative ways
